Giving to

the Givers

Supporting BIPOC community frontliners through cash assistance, creative space, and culturally-rooted programs.

A night concert with a large crowd gathered in front of a stage with colorful lights. The stage has banners with artistic designs and the words 'Giving to the Givers.' The crowd is enthusiastic, some raising their hands, and the sky is dark.

WHAT WE are building

A world where every person who holds their community together is also held. Where healers are healed, givers are restored, and BIPOC communities thrive through the power of their own wisdom and culture. Because community givers are ESSENTIAL and must be prioritized.

WHAT WE DO

DAWA (Diversity Awareness & Wellness in Action) is a community-centered nonprofit that invests in the people who uplift our communities. Our programs operate in cycles and are sustained through members, donors, grants and local partners.
