4 DAWA is an economic initiative where local businesses partner with DAWA by pledging to donate a portion of their sales to the DAWA Fund during a designated period of time or towards a specific dollar goal.
Whether it's a percentage of sales from a specific product, or a special event, every contribution adds to meaningful impact.

Partnerships are categorized in one of these 5 ways:

DRINKS 4DAWA - portion/entirety of sales from a beverage item at a coffee/tea shop, brewery, juicery, bar, café, or even a restaurant.

DINE 4DAWA - portion/entirety of sales from a menu item at restaurant, food truck, ghost kitchen.

DANCE 4DAWA - portion/entirety of ticket sales from a special event at a venue (traditional/non-traditional).

DHARMA 4DAWA - portion/entirety of fee from health & wellness classes at a yoga studio, spa, clinic, gym, etc.

DREAMS 4DAWA - discounted/free hotel packages/outdoor experiences dedicated to Community Frontliners.

Small businesses can, and should, play a major role in repairing damages inflicted by gentrification and displacement. With intention, we can invest and grow opportunity for those most impacted by Austin's rapid 'development.'
